VASER vs J-PLASMA.

The Vaser is applied at the level of the adipose pad to melt the fat, in this way the subsequent extraction of the fat is less ablative, which will avoid excessive movement of the skin.
The J-Plasma is applied in the same pavilion after the extraction / liposuction / liposculpture, at the intradermal level which allows an activation of collagen and elastin which is indicated to collaborate in the retraction of the skin up to 60%.

Both cases are recommended to evaluate them and apply the technologies in necessary cases.

Vaser liposculpture Its procedure is exactly the same as that of a laser liposculpture, the difference is that ultrasound energy (high frequency sound waves) is used to melt the fat and suction it through the cannula. As during the laser procedure, the tissues and nerves remain almost intact, therefore pain, inflammation and bruising are less and disappear much faster. It is also recommended 3 to 4 days of recovery.

In the area to be treated, saline solution is injected to help eliminate fat more easily. Through small superficial incisions, fine cannulas are introduced through which ultrasonic energy is applied that dissolves fat, retracts the skin and defines the silhouette.

Within the Vaser technique we find the High Definition procedure, which is a treatment indicated for slim bodies that seek a high definition of their muscles and that cannot be achieved with a daily training plan.

Advantage:

The laser allows treating smaller areas of the body, which makes conventional liposuction impossible. Laser technology is much more advanced than traditional liposuction, the former achieving greater body definition. The postoperative period of the Lipovaser is less painful and faster, since it leaves less inflammation. In contrast, traditional liposuction is much slower and a bit more annoying.

One of the main advantages added to the vaser is that the fat transfer is direct and the fat is already treated in the procedure itself thanks to ultrasound. Liposuction needs to treat that fat and therefore requires more time in operating rooms.

• More effective results
• Greater contraction in the skin
• Allows marking of all areas
• Less bleeding
• Does not block blood vessels
• Facilitates the transfer
• Allows treating all areas
• Minimal scars
• Quick and less painful recovery
• Minimal inflammation
• The risks of skin burns are lower due to the use of ultrasound
• Less bruising appears
• It can be done using local anesthesia only or sedation.

“What is the ideal procedure for me?
The fact that there are many techniques does not mean that one is better than the other, each technique is good and has its advantages. The ideal procedure for each patient will depend on many factors, including the amount of fat to be removed from the body.
We recommend that you attend an evaluation with your surgeon to recommend the ideal procedure for your case.”

J- Plasma or Renuvion It is a device that incorporates plasma technology based on cold helium and radio frequency, which consists of the passage of said inert gas over a blade and its activation until it forms a plasma jet. This equipment is used in plastic surgery to achieve a tightening of up to 65% of the skin, which considerably improves the flaccidity of the areas. It must be taken into account that a satisfactory result will largely depend on the flaccidity of the patient, since this must be mild or moderate for it to take effect.

J-Plasma Liposculpture We speak of liposculpture since it is necessary to perform this surgery to form the channels through which the J-Plasma will pass. This is why, whenever the skin is tightened with renewal, an initial liposuction should be done.
The areas in which this procedure can be performed are the same in which liposuction is performed (arms, abdomen, back, legs) By using different equipment, the time and value of the surgery will increase depending on the area of the body to be treated.
Postoperative drains are different from liposuction, with a variation in the technique used during massage.
The tightening of the skin Tensioning is achieved thanks to the heat transmitted by the plasma. The temperature reached during the surgery is 34ºC, which indicates that it is a safe procedure for the skin.
J-Plasma liposculpture is recommended for patients with mild flaccidity, and is not a substitute for surgeries to remove excess skin such as abdominoplasty.

Recommendations and advantages:

The Renuvion by J-Plasma procedure can provide better results without the long scars and prolonged downtime by shrinking sagging skin. Since there are no long scars, complications will be substantially less for this new alternative in cosmetic surgery.

When we perform liposuction, the skin is flaccid due to the loss of fat, so it is highly recommended to combine liposuction with the J Plasma treatment. The results are measured according to the degree of flaccidity of the patient.

J Plasma is a revolutionary treatment that uses helium gas and radio frequency energy to create cold helium plasma, which is injected and used to treat the inside of the skin. The ionized gas stimulates collagen production, immediately tightening the skin.

The results are excellent in:
Arm raises, Belt lift (abdomen and sides), Breast lift,Lifting buttocks, Thigh lift, Face and neck lift, Knee lift, Tummy tuck.

Renuvion (J-Plasma) is an excellent modality for patients with mild to moderate excess skin who do not want scars, incisions, or prolonged downtime. For subcutaneous plasma treatment, any skin type is a good candidate. For the facial rejuvenation handpiece, only those with lighter skin types are candidates.

Although most patients recover in about 2 weeks, there is still redness / erythema that lasts for about 4 weeks. The energy penetrates deep into the skin for maximum result that lengthens downtime. This is in contrast to the Renuvion (J Plasma) setting in which patients were back to work within a few days.
